Accommodations: | The UWC camps at Castle Rock Campground in Fremont Indian State Park.
Lodging can be had in Richfield and at Big Rock Candy Mountain. Dispersed camping is allowed almost anywhere along the river canyon except where otherwise posted. |
Notes: | The Marysvale Canyon run is a lesser known gem for Utah boating. The canyon is steep and the rapids are long and can be pretty rowdy at higher flows. Above 1400 CFS this river becomes a fairly serious III+ / IV- run. Even at normal flows, this run is not recommended for absolute beginners.
Be sure to park across the road from the river at the takeout. Do not block the takeout access. This is private property. |
